The Rochester Youth Athletic Association 2025 annual scholarship application is open through Monday March 31, 2025.  Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be available to graduating high school seniors who are in the Rochester 3A Community Unit School District.

Applicants must:

• Be current high school senior who plans to enroll full-time in an accredited vocational or technical school, two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2023-2024 academic year. 

• Demonstrate outstanding character and ambition as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.

• Present evidence of leadership and participation in school and/or community.

• You do not need to be an active or former RYAA participant to apply.

• Experience as well as academic record will be weighted equally in the selection process.

The following must be completed to submitted your scholarship application on or before March 31, 2025:

• Transcripts through the 1st semester of your senior year emailed to scholarship@ryaasports.org

• 1 letter of recommendation (preferably from outside Rochester School) emailed to scholarship@ryaasports.org

Winners may not be contacted in advance of the senior breakfast when the scholarship is announced.  Scholarship recipients will be required to show proof of enrollment prior to the scholarship check being awarded.  Once proof of enrollment has been provided, check will be presented during a RYAA board meeting.
